I rescued a beautiful puppy from the Oakville Humane Society just over three years ago. The owners of his mother had abandoned her after she became pregnant and the entire litter was born in the Humane Society. After seeing the puppies and giving it a lot of careful thought, we decided that it was a good time to add a puppy to our family - something we had wanted to do for a long time but were finally prepared for.
Soon we were the proud owners of a black German Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever cross with white markings and magnificently large paws. Since he was a mixed breed and had a wonderful mix of personalities we decided on the name Quasi.
In recent years Quasi has grown into both his paws and our family. He accompanies us everywhere and has developed a personality that brings a smile to the face of anyone he meets. He enjoys a wide range of activities including hiking, biking, rollerblading, and any other opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. As a true part of the family, he especially enjoys going to see relatives, both human and canine.
